A Frank Decision: Town Hall Tackles Push to Recall Frank White, Jr.

In anticipation of the historic September 30 recall election of Jackson County Executive Frank White, Jr., Kansas City PBS and the Kansas City Public Library are partnering to host a special community town hall, "A Frank Decision."

This vital event will provide a balanced and informative discussion about the issues and implications of this historic vote. It’s an opportunity for the public to get the facts they need to make an informed decision at the ballot box.

The event will be moderated by Kansas City PBS' Week in Review host, Nick Haines. The panel will include:

· Megan Marshall, Jackson County Legislator

· Sean Smith, Jackson County Legislator

· Gwen Grant, CEO of Urban League of Greater Kansas City

· Greg Vonnahme, UMKC Political Scientist

Jackson County Executive Frank White, Jr., or a chosen surrogate, has also been invited to join the conversation.
