Go behind the scenes of the artisan world featured in Celebrating America 250: Made with Love, a special edition of the Emmy Award-winning Made with Love series. Join a small group of fellow members for an intimate, one-day tour of the studios and workspaces of two Kansas City makers featured in the special — weaver and artist Debbie Barrett-Jones and brass instrument maker Mike "Horn Doctor" Corrigan of B.A.C. Musical Instruments. Travel by charter bus to three unique destinations, including the Leedy-Voulkos Art Center and B.A.C. Musical Instruments, and enjoy a special lunch prepared by Chef Celina Tio at The Belfry. This exclusive experience is available to a limited number of Kansas City PBS members with a one-time gift of $250.

Itinerary Saturday, August 22, 2026
9:30 a.m. — Check-in and board bus, Kansas City PBS (125 East 31st Street)
10:00 a.m. — Studio visit with weaver and artist Debbie Barrett-Jones, Leedy-Voulkos Art Center
11:30 a.m. — Lunch from Chef Celina Tio, The Belfry
1:30 p.m. — Studio visit with brass instrument maker Mike "Horn Doctor" Corrigan, B.A.C. Musical Instruments
3:00 p.m. — Return to Kansas City PBS
